One of the first of it's kind, this site is a typical web 2.0 project., what's known as a Mash Up with integration of APIs from 3rd Party sites such as Skype , Facebook and Google, all brought under one convenient umbrella for the user.

Our brief was to design and build the ultimate social aggregator with the emphasis being ‘one place for all your stuff’ in the manner of a high school locker. Our client wanted a funky, new and different social networking site that allowed users to view and manage all of their social networking information via a single log-in.

Delivering the ‘ultimate’ in social networking required a full understanding of the functionality of existing platforms such as Facebook and MySpace. We also investigated other online communications such as YouTube and Skype in order to deliver the full experience. Our creative team researched the concept of the high school locker and the intricacies of delivering control over multiple site log-ins and data.

Our design team created the modern and colourful front end to Spacelocker and engaged with a cartoonist/illustrator to help in the development of the locker and content themes. Every aspect of the user experience was created with the aim of delivering a fun and funky user experience for teenagers and young people who want to share their stuff.

The Peppercorn development team familiarised themselves with Google API and a number of other third party API platforms in order to develop slick functional code for a seemingly massive undertaking.
Our team worked with the application support teams from Facebook, Google and MySpace in order to maintain compatibility and user experience.

Spacelocker became an overnight success and it was due to the deployment of dedicated server systems that allowed the site to grow in a safe, secure and seamless manner.
