Peppercorn was asked to redesign and develop the Ladbrokes Internal Intranet website. This was launched in August 2009.

Ladbrokes intranet serves thousands of staff members with a multitude of company information and supporting data. One of the key aspects of the intranet system is the availability of learning and development material. Although the library of available data was substantial, it’s delivery and accessibility was in need of improvement.

Our thoughts began with good old fashioned GUI (graphical user
interface) design and we set ourselves the challenge of incorporating revised navigation within the current intranet framework. Secondly, we investigated the platform/technology available together with a keen eye on ‘userbility’ and inclusiveness for all.

Peppercorn designed a powerful and engaging learning and development platform with easy to follow navigation and a fun yet business like theme. A well managed document library delivered all supporting material in a logical and easy to follow manner while the page content focused on engaging with the staff.

Our development team investigated the current intranet coding standards and communicated with Ladbrokes systems I.T. personnel before choosing a strategy. Wherever possible our team had striven to deliver new and engaging interactivity while maintaining complete compliance with the existing platform.

Our team complied with every aspect of the current model and delivered complete, bug free, efficient code to deliver fast seamless deployment and a good user experience.
